Photoeyes use an infrared beam to send a signal to gate or door operators to open or close. An interruption to the light beam will cause operator controls to stop and/or reverse. Photoeyes provide a reliable safety solution to protect vehicles, as well as people, from damage or injury.
About Photoeyes
There are two styles of photoeyes:
Thru Beam – This type of photoeye is comprised of a two-piece unit with a separate transmitter and receiver mounted opposite each other
Retroreflective – This type of photoeye sensor is comprised of transmitter and receiver in one unit with a separate reflector
